Alternative Thinking - Think For Yourself

Thinking is going the way of dinosaurs, on its’ way to extinction. It boggles the mind how many people rely on the government, or media, and take what they say as gospel. What ever happened to independent thought? Should we follow along like sheep, or is thinking out of the box what we really need to focus on.
The great thinkers, like Einstein, were decidedly alternative thinkers. Always light years ahead, on the cutting edge of forward, progressive thinking. My favorite quote from Einstein is, “ Nothing will benefit human health and increase the chances of survival of life on earth as much as the evolution to a vegetarian diet.”
Being a vegetarian myself, this quote is inspiring for me. My choice to be a vegetarian was made at a young age and it was a combination of moral, social and a matter of food preference.
The choice to be a vegetarian could be a conscious decision though, with a thinking society. The pros to health alone, far outweigh the cons. Then, if you consider the environment, economy, animal rights, spirituality and benefits to the earth, the positive attributes jump exponentially. Keep in mind this is my opinion, oh… and that of Einstein as well.
Einstein was home schooled as well, because he was considered unruly and difficult to discipline.
Nowadays in our society, that suppresses free thinkers, he would have been placed, encouraged or cajoled into taking Ritalin or some other medication to control his uninhibited thinking.
What a shame to think that our society is willingly terminating all the incredible and boundless potential of so many of our youths!
There are so many issues we should be questioning, such as the honey bees disappearing at an alarming rate. Another Einstein quote, “If the bee disappeared off the surface of the globe then man would only have four years of life left. No more bees, no more pollination, no more plants, no more animals, no more man.” There are some questions as to whether or not Einstein actually said this, but then of course the powers that be, wouldn’t want us to think that one of the greatest thinkers of all time predicted the downfall of the human race. Imagine the mass panic it would cause.
Why isn’t there more media coverage of these life altering issues and less fluff about the Hollywood types?
Could it be diversionary tactics?
Being a conspiracy theory believer I have little or no doubt that more is going on than we are being told, and that is a huge understatement.
Now this is really something worth taking the time to think about!
